Testing connectivity on iOS using iNetTools

iNetTools is a free app on the appstore that allows you to check the basic connection to your FTP server:

You can download a free copy of iNetTools from the App Store to test.

Open the iNetTools app, and select Port Scan.

In the host name field, enter the server name you have in Mebia FTP on your iOS sevice - its everything in the ftp:// field in settings - up to but not including the first /

Enter 21 for the port range. Click start. It should return saying that Port 21 is Open and also under the "Ports open" output show 21 as FTP. If it does not there is still an issue with your firewall.

Mebia FTP can see your server and can connect to it using FTP!
