Special characters seem to confuse my DAP

Solution

Some special characters special characters like é,è, ù, à, etc.confuse certain Digital Audio Players.

Dapper can help solve this:  go into options and select "remove special characters".

This will cause the music filenames and playlist names to have their special characters normalized to ASCII and solve the issue, however it will require the music to be re-synced once since all the filenames will need to change.
